Thoroughly enjoyed the room with excellent amenities, my bed was very comfy. the staff was outstandingly friendly and efficient and made me feel at home. - the location was fantastic - right by restaurants and beach.

We think it's a right place for staying in Port Elizabeth. The beach restaurant serves fine food. Nothing too much trouble, a pleasant experience, would want to stay there again...

While my stay at Aberdour Guesthouse was mostly excellent, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. it would have been nice to have a small stove in the room, especially for guests staying for three or more nights who may want to cook their own meals occasionally.

I loved the little details at Aberdour Guesthouse. The fridge had milk and beverages, there was insect repellent and body wash provided, and even a shower cap. Neil, the owner, was incredibly helpful and fulfilled my request for a 1800 Watt hairdryer. The bedding was of excellent quality and the atmosphere was nice with the lamps. I also enjoyed the swimming pool.

I felt welcomed and had no reason to complain.
